The Core Tax Administration System (CTAS), commonly known as Coretax, is a tax administration system developed to replace manual methods with a more integrated digital approach. Coretax covers various taxation processes, including:

Legal Basis of Coretax
Coretax was first introduced through Presidential Regulation No. 40 of 2018 and further reinforced by Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) No. 81 of 2024. This regulation takes effect on January 1, 2025, covering all types of taxes, including Income Tax (PPh), Value Added Tax (PPN), Luxury Goods Sales Tax (PPnBM), Stamp Duty, Land and Building Tax (PBB), and Carbon Tax. With Coretax implementation, the government has also revoked 42 previously existing tax regulations.
